WHY MARACUYA

WELCOME TO A CARIBBEAN PARADISE
With more than 140 acres of breath-taking beaches, crystal-clear water and lush hillsides, Maracuya is the setting to discover your own particular piece of paradise. The community’s incredible range of geography means you can bask on soft sandy beaches and within minutes be in lush old-growth forests, enjoying spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and the Bay of Chiriqui, or strolling along a hillside path nibbling on limes or papaya that grow wild.

IN HARMONY WITH NATURE
Maracuya will be created in harmony with Nature, and with absolute respect for its incredible surroundings. All improvements will be designed to enhance and show consideration for bio-climatic conditions, and to minimize any impact on the environment. Our 60-acre reforestation project is already under way, and Maracuya’s approved site plan sets aside 40 acres to remain in its untouched, natural state. Our marina is situated so as to utilize existing cuts through the pristine mangrove forest and to avoid living reefs.

A PLACE TO CALL “ HOME ”
Whether you envision Maracuya as your primary home, second home, retirement spot or weekend getaway, the community master plan offers a home that will fit your needs. Opt for a Waterfront Estate on the Caribbean; an Aqua Home built over the hurricane-free waters; a Tree House nestled in the towering forest; or a Hillside View Home. Only 250 homes will be part of Maracuya, with a variety of condominium ownership opportunities including residences, cabanas, boat slips and commercial units.

BAREFOOT IN SPIRIT, ELEGANT IN DESIGN
The resort community’s architecture will mirror the colorful, tropical topography of its setting. Maracuya’s architectural team, Cambefort & Boza, share our belief that living in Paradise means integrating homes into our incredible natural setting. Maracuya’s homes and other buildings will take best advantage of its gentle climate and breath-taking views. Both indoor and outdoor living will be incorporated throughout the homes, with rooms opening onto a variety of “outdoor rooms” – terraces, porches, lanais, balconies. The hallmark of Maracuya’s architectural design will be the use of native materials and Caribbean-inspired details.
